Tube and chain conveyors, as well as tube cable disc conveyors, are engineered for the continuous transport of fine powders, granules, and bulk materials. They can be installed in horizontal, horizontal-vertical, and standalone vertical configurations.
- Horizontal/Flat and Horizontal/Upright Conveying: In these systems, the cable or chain and discs create horizontal thrust, moving the material forward. The material moves with the discs when the internal friction exceeds the external friction between the material and the tube wall, resulting in a stable flow.
- Vertical/Upright Conveying: In this setup, chains and discs generate vertical upward thrust. The under-feeding mechanism prevents the material from falling while generating lateral pressure to enhance internal friction. When the internal friction surpasses both external friction and the material’s weight, the material moves upwards with the discs, forming a continuous flow.
