A new hydraulic bulk bag conditioner utilizes hydraulically-actuated rams that automatically adjust their height during conditioning cycles, providing efficient and customizable loosening of bulk materials.
These hydraulic bulk bag conditioners are designed to loosen materials that cannot be effectively dislodged by pneumatically-actuated flow promotion devices commonly found in bulk bag dischargers.
The rams in this innovative design offer two meters of vertical travel, which is double the range of traditional conditioners using scissor lifts to raise the bag. Additionally, the fixed-height turntable reduces the loading deck height by 50%, allowing for easier bag handling.
The user can program various parameters, including single or multiple heights at which the rams will condition the bag, the amount of pressure applied by the rams’ contoured end plates, the frequency of ram actuations, and the number of 90-degree rotations of the turntable. This customizable approach ensures the effective loosening of solidified materials throughout the bag, allowing for smooth discharge through the bag spout.
The system controller can be mounted remotely or on the exterior of the safety cage, which includes full-height, safety-interlocked doors for enhanced operator safety.
The unit only requires an electrical power connection for operation and is available in stainless steel or carbon steel with durable industrial coatings, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
